At S.U.P.E.R. Learning Center, Akron's leading cognitive learning school for children, we take the "dis" out of "learning disability." We emphatically tell our students that they have unique learning abilities, not learning disabilities. Our licensed experts are solely focused every day on building confidence in our students, and continuously adapting our teaching methods to ensure we get the most out of each student's learning style and abilities.
S.U.P.E.R.'s cognitive learning school for children is a faith-based learning center with the firm belief that all children deserve the very best education available, especially those with special needs. We've dedicated ourselves to understanding as much as we can about how the brain functions, spending countless hours researching how the brain learns and processes information, and how to apply our knowledge to make learning easier and more enjoyable for our students.
Our staff understands the personal heartache of watching a child struggle with even the most basic concepts. This is precisely why we've put all of our efforts into transforming learning disabilities into heroic capabilities.
Right Brain Training
It's been scientifically proven that when both the mind and body are in motion simultaneously, learning is enhanced. S.U.P.E.R. Learning Center's proprietary right brain, physical cognitive skills training program, a cognitive learning school for children that's the only one of its kind in Northeast Ohio, ensures that students' minds and bodies work congruently and effectively. Right brain training, through its total mind-body learning experience, is fun and effective for students helping them make heroic strides in memory, retention, acuity, depth perception, recognition and cognition, and more.

Socialization
One of the most difficult realities for children with special learning needs is that it's almost always a little more challenging to fit in. S.U.P.E.R. Learning Center's cognitive learning school for children has a professional staff that understands maintaining a healthy social balance is something that's vitally important in any academic environment. It's no secret, your child will learn more effectively when socially comfortable. S.U.P.E.R.'s curriculum is flush with opportunities to develop socialization skills and confidence, both much needed for heroic academic accomplishment.

Bullied Children
Bullied children face a more extreme challenge than those with typical socialization issues. It's not only difficult for them to fit in socially, but they have the added pressure of another student or group repetitively attempting to demonstrate dominance in a public fashion. As Akron's leading cognitive learning school for children, S.U.P.E.R. provides a safe haven for many students suffering both mental and physical ill effects of bullying. S.U.P.E.R. offers bullied students a foundation on which they can rebuild confidence and be treated with the respect, patience and consistency they need to get back on track to heroic accomplishment.
